My recommendation is to begin your ceremony design process a month or two before the Blessingway, so you have plenty of time and aren’t rushed. In an ideal world! Here is what the process looks like:

We have 3 in person sessions for the ceremony design process, with possible followups over email for final edits. Sessions typically are held a week or two apart. This allows time for my writing process between meetings, and gives you a chance to review and reflect on what has been created so far.

Session lengths vary: the first session (Visioning Sessions) is typically longer, often lasting 90 minutes to two hours. The later sessions (Design Sessions) are typically shorter, usually an hour or less.

I can sometimes accommodate an “SOS” ceremony design process at an accelerated rate, depending on scheduling availability. This incurs an additional fee for expedition. If you require this level of service, please make a note of this in your application.

Additionally, I have worked with many mothers and families in creating a ceremony to honor their sacred rite of passage after the birth. This can be very powerful, as it often serves to help integrate the transformational process of birthing, as well as honoring the mother and blessing the baby. Many families find this is a beautiful way to honor, celebrate and intentionally align with this next new chapter in their family’s life together.

I am located in northeast Connecticut, USA. I am available to officiate ceremonies locally, and on occasion (schedule allowing), I am available to officiate farther away (additional travel expenses apply). Additionally, I am available to help you design your personal Blessingway ceremony even if I do not officiate in person at your ceremony. Because we meet over zoom, I can help mothers to create their unique Blessinway ceremony from anywhere in the world.

Yes! I bring to this work more than 30 years of study and practice in energy healing, guided meditation, sound healing, shamanic practice, cacao ceremony, spiritual guidance, and many other modalities that facilitate healing and transformation. I have many offerings- from private sessions to cacao ceremony to sound healings- that can support a deeper spiritual journey and preparation for birth and motherhood. This is a beautiful and powerful process. We can create a custom package, specially designed to support you in all the ways you desire. This is so fun! When we meet on our zoom connection call, you can share with me about your desires and vision, and I can share with you about the offerings that could support that. Together we can create exactly the deep dive you are looking for!

No worries! That’s where I come in. One of my special gifts is the talent for translating your deep feelings into authentic language to express your values and commitments. I do this through an intuitive and energetically guided process of deep listening and “reading” your energy field while we discuss your feelings, desires, vision and intentions for your Blessingway. When your field “lights up”, I know we are on to some of the most important keys to expressing your most heartfelt and authentic intentions. I take copious notes during our sessions, taking careful documentation of your natural language and turns of phrase, so that the words of your ceremony are natural and authentic to you. Your only job to reflect, explore, and share- I’ll do the writing part. Then each week, I share with you what I’ve written, and you can help to refine it by letting me know what is aligned and what isn’t. Through this collaborative process we create a ceremony that you love, that feels absolutely natural, true and authentic. The process is completely magical- and absolutely failsafe!

No. While I am a deeply spiritual person with a lifetime of study in many spiritual paths and practices, I do not impose my personal beliefs on your ceremony. In fact, you don’t need to be spiritual or religious at all to enjoy the benefits and beauty of a personal, unique, authentic ceremony to celebrate your pregnancy and birth! Our ceremony design process is a journey of self-reflection and exploration of YOUR personal beliefs, values, intentions and vision for your birth and motherhood. The ceremony we create supports you, through words and actions, in a deep and personal preparation for birth. It is a way to meaningfully celebrate your journey of becoming a mother. Whatever your beliefs and practices, they will naturally be expressed in your personal ceremony. Your Blessingway ceremony belongs to YOU: it is a unique celebration and honoring of your pregnancy, birth and motherhood.
