so that we can remember how to live our lives in a sacred harmony with Divine Life.
Rhiannon is a modern day Medicine Woman and family mystic, specializing in rites of passage, ceremony facilitation, authentic voice, and sacred sound transmission. Devoted wife and passionate mother of two grown sons, Rhiannon has spent the last several decades (re)weaving the Sacred into “ordinary” family life and walking the journey of motherhood as a sacred path of awakening. She is passionate about the remembrance of the Sacred in All of Life, and the return to Harmony- within ourselves and with All Our Relations- through the remembrance/reinvention of family and community practices to facilitate sacred living.
In particular, the honoring of our sacred rites of passage: birth, coming of age, marriage, and death, are of pivotal importance to our spiritual growth and to our thriving as both individuals and as a collective. Rhiannon has a special passion for the power and importance of birth rites- both for mothers and their families, but also for our whole community- and has developed special trainings and ceremonies just for mothers in the birthing year.
Connected with the spiritual realms since childhood, Rhiannon was initiated into the path of the Medicine Woman at 14, after a car accident injured her foot and left doctors concerned that she might never be able to dance- or even walk- again. Knowing intuitively that the doctors did not know the full story of what was possible, she turned within to connect with the divine. There she received instructions and healing from various spirit guides who came to her, and began to teach her about healing, the unseen realms, and the greater reality of which we are all a part. Thus began her journey as a healer, oracle, and bridge between the seen and unseen worlds.
Since that time, well over 30 years ago now, Rhiannon has been studying the healing arts, energy medicine, spirituality and metaphysics. She has trained and been certified in various modalities/traditions, including: polarity therapy, holistic massage therapy, authentic movement, divine openings, profound healing, diksha, sacred activations, akashic records reading, shamanic healing, and cacao ceremony facilitation. She is a Hampiq Ñust’a initiate in the Lineage of the Seven Rays, a tradition out of the Andes of Peru. She is an also a musician and gifted singer, bringing the sacred medicine of sound into all her work, through voice, harp, singing bowls, and various other instruments. She produced her first album in 2022, entitled Sacred Mother. You can find her on Spotify and other streaming platforms.
While Rhiannon has benefitted enormously from the trainings she has received from other human healers and medicine teachers, her primary teachers since childhood have been her guides in the unseen realms, and her direct relationship with nature and Mother Earth.
Through this training direct with spirit, she developed an unique and powerful form of sound healing, called Sacred Sound Awakening. This is a type of energy medicine that channels frequencies of sound through awakened voice. These high frequencies of light/information/sound are received from the celestial and inner earth realms to bring harmonization, healing, and activation of your true self and original divine blueprint (true purpose and unique gifts) for this life.
In 2007 Rhiannon began receiving training from her spirit guides in this way of working with sound frequency during her energy healing sessions with clients. Over the last 18 years this has become a very powerful healing modality and tool for spiritual awakening and soul purpose activation. In addition to offering private and group sound activations and incorporating this channeled sound work into all her offerings, she also offers a training to teach others how to learn to work in this way with their own sacred sound.
Rhiannon has found this work with sound frequency to be especially powerful when preparing to give birth, and so she has also created a special course just for pregnant mothers on how to work with their own sacred sound to call in higher frequencies to support the accelerated transformational process and frequency upgrades that occur during the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Rhiannon is passionate about ceremony. Intuitively creating ceremony since childhood, she instinctively felt there was something *missing* in our cultural ways of honoring and celebrating the big changes and sacred moments in our lives: especially the transformational rites of passage of birth, coming of age (puberty/menarche), marriage, and death.
Beginning with the creation of her own wedding ceremony in 2003, Rhiannon became fascinated with the power of ceremony to facilitate not only honoring and celebration, but also to profoundly empower and strengthen the individual(s) as they navigate change and transformation.
She calls this way of working with ceremony Living Ceremony. As opposed to “dead” ceremonies that are only pomp and circumstance, canned and impersonal, a Living Ceremony is a form of true energy medicine. By meeting and walking our sacred rite of passage intentionally, we are able to receive the treasure waiting for us there. This threshold in our life becomes an opportunity to take stock and discover our current values, desires, and commitments. It gives us an opportunity to walk forward into the next chapter of our lives with new clarity, direction, and empowerment.
These Living Ceremonies also are an opportunity to be seen and recognized by our community- the people we love the most- for who we are now, and, for who we intend to be moving forward. This is an incredibly moving and empowering experience for both the one undergoing the rite of passage, and for everyone in the community who is witnessing the ceremony.
The journey of creating living ceremony is both transformational and healing. It provides an opportunity to honor (and resolve) the past so that you can move forward into the future in harmony and integrity with yourself, free to really choose who you want to be in your life. This ceremonial work is deeply rewarding for everyone (including Rhiannon!) and has amazing ripple effects in families and their wider communities.
It is one of Rhiannon’s biggest missions in life to return this practice of living ceremony to our communities.
May we together (re)discover how to walk this life as a path of Sacred Living, awakening meaning, magic, connection, reverence and love through all the ordinary activities of our daily lives.
May we gather together in love and reverence, with respect and gratitude. May every ceremony, every gathering, be a blessing to this land, to this Earth, to the creatures and spirits and ancestors who dwell here, may it be a blessing to the heavenly realms and to all the divine ones, to Pure Divine Presence. May it be a blessing to our communities and families, to our children and our children’s children.
May we remember, rediscover, and reinvent how to live in Harmony with All Our Relations.
